He was born on October 21st, 1985 in Gillette, Wyoming to his loving parents Elizabeth and David Hobson. A man of many passions and talents, Matthew found joy in fishing expeditions, motocross, tinkering in the garage, and riding his Harley. He was a true outdoorsman and found peace in nature. His passion for hunting connected him with family traditions that were dear to him. Coaching sports for his sons was one of his biggest priorities and filled him with pride as he watched them grow into strong individuals under his guidance. His loss leaves an unfillable void in the hearts of those who knew him best. The memories created through shared experiences will forever remain etched in their minds.
Matthew will be deeply missed by his children Henrik (11) and Theron (6) and is now resting with his son Zander ( February 16th, 2014- July 17th, 2015 ) He is survived by his mother Elizabeth ( life partner Tim Munson) father David, Siblings Mariah Smiley (husband Robert Smiley), Cody Hobson ( wife Brianne Hobson), Faith Hobson, and Eric Munson, grandparents Robert and Patricia Flathau as well as Hope Hobson. Matthew was also the devoted husband of Tabitha for nine and a half years - the mother of his cherished children. In this time of grief may we find solace knowing that Matthew has left behind a legacy that will live on through those whose lives he touched so profoundly. Rest peacefully Matthew David Hobson - you will never be forgotten. Please sign our guestbook or share an online condolence with the family at www.oguinnfh.com.
