Matthew Stephen Jones of Rolla, MO passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024.
Matthew was born to Timothy S. Jones and Alice Mae Wagoner Jones on April 10, 1981 in Rolla, MO. Matthew was preceded in death by his grandparents; Ben Wagoner, Opal Wagoner, Ralph Jones, Catherine Jones; and one brother, James "Jayder" Jones.
Matthew loved working on his 55 Chevy. He enjoyed collecting antiques and going on road trips. He adored his dog, Bo and loved to go fishing. Collecting cars and driving dump trucks was also a passion of his. He loved to watch movies, especially old Westerns and American Graffiti (the hot rod movie), but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Matthew will be greatly missed by his surviving family which includes: his son, Caleb Jones of Rolla, MO; daughter, Alexa Jones of Rolla, MO; parents, Timothy and Alice Jones of Rolla, MO; one brother, Scott Jones and wife Melissa of Doolittle, MO; uncles and aunts, Eugene and Oma Wagoner of Dixon, MO, Bill and Linda Jones of Serville, TN, and Don and Patty Camp of Costa Rica; close friends, Kristin Fitez Masterson, Adam Masterson, Charley Masterson, and numerous cousins, family, and friends.
A funeral mass for Matthew S. Jones will be conducted on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 11 am at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Rolla, MO. Interment will follow at the Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2024 at Null and Son Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Matthew Jones Family for expenses. Envelopes are available at Null and Son Funeral Home.
