Mathew J. LeDuc, 58 of Holy Ridge, NC passed away unexpectedly on September 16, 2025. He was born on August 4, 1967 and grew up in Underhill, Vermont. Son of Roger and Jeannette LeDuc.

Mat grew up an inquisitive child, always taking things apart, but never managing to put them back together. He had a genuine love for anything with a motor, spending many years enjoying motorcycles, snow machines and ATV's. Something he passed down to his children as he began his family. Mat was quite the craftsman and master tile setter. Having learned the trade from his father in his early years, he went on to become an amazing tile setter and worked for many years as an independent contractor and had worked many years for Smugglers Notch, refurbishing the condos.

He moved to Holly Ridge, North Carolina in July 2020 to begin a new chapter, where he loved the warm weather and ocean tides. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife Carrie Wilcox-LeDuc of Holly Ridge, NC, his children Amanda Kinniburgh of Fairfax, VT, Caytlyn (Jake) Langelier and their three children Olyvia, Abel and Anthony of Fairfax, VT, Garrett LeDuc of Fairfax, VT as well as his step children, Evan (Caroline) Wilcox and their son Callum of Clayton, NC, Eric (Cassandra) Wilcox and their daughter Sophia of Hanover, NJ; Jonathan Wilcox and his daughter Amira or Burlington, VT. He is also survived by his mother Jeannette LeDuc of Holly Ridge, NC and sister Renee (LeDuc) Matthieu of Holly Ridge, NC as well as many close friends.

He was predeceased by his father Roger G. LeDuc on September 20, 2021.

As per the families' wishes there will be no service at this time.
