Matthew Linehan Obituary
Matthew Ronald Linehan 78 of Lancaster OH, passed away on Thursday November 28, 2024. Ron was born on February 9th, 1946 in Norwich, England. A graduate of Lancaster High School Class of 1966. Ron proudly served in the US Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam war. A skilled Glazer for 47 years before retiring. Ron had a passion for woodworking and welding. This passion continued until his passing. Ron will be remembered for his exceptional trade skills and for being a loving father and grandfather. Ron was quick to help out friends and was always looking forward to spending time with his grandchildren.
Ron is survived by his son Matthew T. Linehan, daughter Paula (Mike) Phillips, grandchildren Logan M. Phillips and Kristen N. Phillips. He was preceded in death by his mother Rita (Buck) Linehan Vaughn, father Matthew C. Linehan, brother David Linehan, and sister Patricia Gualtieri.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday December 6th from 12-2PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Grove City. Funeral service begins at 2PM, with Military Honors concluding the service.
