Falkland - Matthew Wilson "Fish" Oliver, 39, passed away Wednesday, June 11th, 2025 in his home. Born November 27th, 1985 in Greenville, Pitt County has always been his home.
He was the son of the late Terry Wilson Oliver and Debora Ann Oliver of Greenville, NC.
Matthew is survived by the sparkle in his eye, his greatest contribution to humanity, his cherished daughter, London Oliver.
Matthew was also a "dog daddy" to his pit bull "X," the other sparkle in his eye.
Matthew graduated from Pitt Community College earning an Associate's Degree in Marketing.
He also served with a contracting crew as an industrial, high-strength, flooring fabricator. His all- time favorite career focus was for a national geomatics company supporting engineers using the latest ground and air resources to study and measure land.
Matthew had a loving, giving, heart-of-gold and nothing was more important to him than his family, friends and pups.
The family asks for privacy at this time and will hold a private family gathering Sunday. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Pitt County Animal Services on 4550 County Home Road, Greenville, NC 27858.
