Matthew Palmer Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Matthew Stephen Palmer, who went home to be with the Lord on September 18, 2025, at the age of 54. Born on November 26, 1970, Matt was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle and friend.
Matt lived a life full of joy and purpose, and his compassionate spirit will be deeply missed. He was an avid pickleball player. He loved to play the game, making friends and uplifting others along the way.
Music was another of Matt's great passions. He always had a guitar in hand, sharing his gift with others. He believed in the power of music to heal and uplift, and he often used it to bring joy and comfort to others.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Patricia Palmer. He is survived by his son Matt Jr., brother Michael (Cheryl) Palmer, sister Kim (Richard) Pulley. nieces Amanda, Heather, Allison and Megan, girlfriend Sarai Garcia and a wide circle of friends who cherished his humor and generosity of heart.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Matt's life on Thursday, September 25th at Orchard Hill Church. Visitation is at 10am with the service at 11am.
Matt is now at peace, embraced by the love of God, and though we mourn his loss, we also rejoice in the knowledge that his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us all.
