Matthew V. Presnell passed from this life on October 8th, 2024. Matthew was born on June 29th, 1977 in Terre Haute Indiana to Vernon and Cindy (McCormick) Presnell. He was proceeded in death by his father Vernon, his paternal grandparents, Maternal grandparents, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Matthew is survived by his mother Cindy, siblings, Michele (Jacob), Franklin, Melissa Presnell, Greg (Walda) Presnell and Kathy Presnell. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews who dearly loved their “Uncle Matt” Elizabeth((Logan),NeesAlecWeber(Melissa Miller), Leah Franklin(Grant Sapp), Lyn Franklin, Rylie Strole, Charlie Rose Strole and Greyson Baker. He is also survived by former wife Toni Presnell who he remained great friends with. Also, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Matthew graduated from West Vigo high school where he played baseball for four years in 1995. From Indiana State university in 2000 where he received a degree in Education. Matt's real passion was for his art and love of drawing. A celebration of life will be Thursday, October 17th from 4pm - 6pm at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, Indiana with Pastor Chris Wilbur to say a few words along with his family. Anyone with a story or memory of Matthew please come and share with friends and family. He will be forever loved and missed....

In Lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Indiana Suicide Prevention Network or any other similar organization, in Matthews memory.
