Matthew was born September 27, 1983 in Scott Bluff, Nebraska and raised in Las Cruces with his parents and siblings. Matthew was very talented and everyone's favorite to go to. Matthew had a heart of an angel. There was nothing that could break him. He was everyone's super hero. Matthew was always teaching someone something; it could be from a life learn lesson to just a simple question, either way you learned something. He was the most patient, loving, kind hearted person once you got to know him. Especially joking around, Matthew had this laugh and smile that could get someone's attention too. He always said he was blessed with good looks. Matthew was always family first kind of guy.
Matthew is survived by his two kids Ahayla and Josiah Sanchez of Las Cruces, New Mexico; brother Manuel Sanchez, sisters Rebecca Wigham and Jessica Sanchez along with his parents Manuel and Juanita Sanchez. He's also survived by eight nieces and five nephews along with seven great nieces and four great nephews.

Matt will be sorely missed. At the worst time of my life, he showed me there was light still to shine.
