Matthew Scheibert Obituary
Matt was born in Louisville and graduated from St. Xavier High School in 1996, where he won the state championship in football his senior year. He was an avid rock collector and a big fan of the Atlanta Braves and of the University of Louisville football and basketball teams.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Eugene Scheibert and James and Mary Ann Spencer.
Carrying on Matt's legacy are his father, John J. Scheibert; mother, Mary Jo Whitten (Warren); brother, George Scheibert; grandmother, Mary Ann Scheibert; aunts and uncles, Mary Sue Scheibert, Michael Scheibert, Theresa Craddock, Angie Davis, and Ted Spencer; and cousins, Clint Craddock, Emily Vogt, Hayley Bischof, and Gary Spencer.
Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 3800 Bardstown Road, are handling the arrangements.
