Matthew Thomas of Judsonia, passed away on November10, 2025 at his home.
Born to Billy Wayne Thomas and Judy Marie (Rouse) Thomas both of Judsonia.
Matt was known by all who loved him for his easy smile, great laugh, and kind giving heart. He brought joy to every gathering and was always happiest when surrounded by family and friends, whether playing games, listening to music or sharing stories.
A true grill master, Matt loved cooking for others and took pride in making sure everyone had enough to eat, and plenty to laugh about. He also had a deep love for the outdoors. Fishing was one of his greatest joys and he found peace and happiness in the outdoors especially under a sky full of stars.
Matt is survived by two sons Avery Lincoln Thomas, Adrian Thomas, and three daughters Andrea Thomas, Amelia Thomas all of Judsonia and Addy Thomas of Jacksonville. His parents, Billy Thomas and Judy Rouse Thomas (Doug Roberson) of Judsonia, His grandmother Mary Thomas, Great Grandmother Garnet Tippy, The mother of his children Salina Morgan and his long-time partner, Kasey Bales. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will cherish his memory.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, LC Thomas, Ruby Nell Casey, and Jack and Sylvia Rouse all of Judsonia.
Matt will be remembered for his warm generous smile and the laughter he shared so freely. His light will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Visitation will be from 1:00pm-2:00pm followed by Funeral Service beginning at 2:00pm, on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Powell Funeral Home of Bald Knob. Interment will follow at West Point Cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to Powell Funeral Home of Bald Knob-Judsonia.
