Matthew Deneal Turner

Matthew Deneal Turner, 50, of Bald Knob, Arkansas departed this life on Friday, December 8, 2023 at Saint Vincents Medical Center in Sherwood.
He was born February 22, 1973, in Searcy, Arkansas the son of Boyce Turner and Brenda Boyce Jackson.
Matthew was a loving father, grandfather, and son. He operated heavy machinery on the pipeline for 31 years. Matthew enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, and hunting. He spent a lot of time with his son, Levi, working on trucks and enjoying cold drinks. He cared deeply for his family and loved to be part of family gatherings. Matthew took pride in his homeplace, always planting new trees and making the property just right. He will be missed by all those that were honored to know him.
He is survived by, son, Levi (Zora) Turner and their children, Waylon, Houston, Janson, and Clayton, Fiancé, Anitra, mother, Brenda Jackson, brother, Keith (Fe) Turner, sister, Angie (Carroll) Toddy, uncles, Charles (Mary) Boyce and Dewayne (Phillis) Boyce, he is also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by, his father, Boyce Turner and stepmother, Katherine Turner, and stepfather, Lloyd Jackson.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob, Arkansas. Visitation will be held Monday, December 11, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Serving as honorary pallbearers are, Buck Buxton, Charles Boyce, Dewayne Boyce, Austin Turner, Dustin Turner, Nate Turner, Keith Turner, Colton Meacham, Brad Hunt, Chad Butler, and Royce Turner.
