Obituary of Matthew C. Tuttle
Matthew Christopher Thomas Tuttle was a loving father, husband, brother, friend, and mentor. He left the world peacefully at his home and surrounded by loved ones on December 10th, 2023, at the age of 54.
Born December 31st, 1968, and adopted by two loving parents, Roger and Elizabeth Tuttle. After graduating from St. Anthony's High School, Matthew continued his academic and athletic passion at Marist College.
He's been a long-time resident of the New York Metro Area, bringing four children into the world: Lauren, Griffin, Jackson, and Blake. For the last 17 years, he has called New Jersey his home alongside his wife Alisa while they spent their summers in Rockaway Beach, NY.
Matthew loved his work, with 30+ years working in Cybersecurity and Professional Services. His loss will be felt by all those who have known him personally and professionally. In his free time, Matt could be found outdoors with his dog, golfing, gardening, or power washing the side of the house until the paint wore thin.
Matthew is predeceased by his parents, Roger and Elizabeth Tuttle.
He is survived by his wife, Alisa, and his children, Lauren, Griffin, Jackson, and Blake.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ 07069.
A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, December 16th, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of the Mount Church, 170 Mt. Bethel Road, Warren, NJ 07059.
Cremation services will be held privately.
