I loved this young man..I remember when I met Matthew and his family..I will always and never forget his passionate drive ( and he had questions)to learn more about Jesus! He was a happy person ..always had a smile on his face.. I will always remember you as a happy person... You are no longer suffering.. and Jesus will take care of everyone else. Damian, please accept my deepest, heartfelt sympathy on reading of the loss of your son. I cannot even imagine the pain you and his mother, and whole family are suffering. Nothing in life prepares you for loosing a child even as he has become a man. I am just so very sorry.

I met Matt and little Joshua through church where he attended with his Mom Debra and Grandma Frances. He loved his family deeply and was obviously in love with his little boy. His passing is met with such great sorrow. My prayers and heart felt condolences are with his family especially Joshua, Deb, and Frances. God bless you all.

I am so sorry for his families loss. Matthew was a friend of mine in high school at a time when I was new, didnt know anyone, and needed a good friend. He always had a positive outlook on life and a smile on his face, always trying to lift up those around him.
