Matthew Charles Woodall, 39, of Buford, Georgia, passed from this life on October 7, 2024, at his home after an extended illness.
He was born on November 12, 1984, in DeKalb County, Georgia, son of Rella "Lea" Barnard-Senter and the late Charles Howard Woodall. He was a graduate of West Hall High School of Oakwood, Georgia. Matthew was a member of The New Bethany Baptist Church and was an amazing son and friend.
Matt enjoyed playing the guitar and he excelled at building electric skateboards and restoring old Harley motorcycles.
He worked as a machinist at KLN Manufacturing Company in Jefferson over the last 3 years and thoroughly enjoyed and excelled at his job. You couldn't ask for a better friend if you were in need.
He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Besides his father, he is preceded in death by both paternal and maternal grandparents, Fred and Dorothy Collins Barnard, and a great niece, baby Chloe Fay Bradford.
Matthew had never married and had no children.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving mother, Lea Senter of London, Kentucky, his brother, Todd Perry, and a niece and nephew, Lindsey (Todd) Bradford, and Austin T.(Whitney) Perry, and a great niece, Reese Bradford, and his lifelong friend and mentor, Roger Mills.
He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, and special cousins in Kentucky and many friends. No formal services will be held in Georgia.
