Matthew Thomas Zdunich

Our beloved Son, Husband, Father, and Brother, Matthew, passed away peacefully at IMC Hospital on May 23, 2024, at the age of 41. He was born on October 25, 1982, in Murray, Utah to Tom and Colleen Zdunich. Matthew married Michelle Griffiths on August 5, 2005 in Bountiful, Utah.

Matthew last worked as the Senior Director of Warehouse and Distribution at BioFire Diagnostics. He had an uncanny ability to find the best in every person he came in contact with, and was able to make friends with everyone. Matthew was the life of the party every where he went, and would light up the room with his smile, quick wit, and personality. He was an avid Chiefs fan and University of Utah season ticket holder, where he would attend many games of both teams each year.

Matthew leaves behind his wife, his Little Angel, Haleigh, his parents, his brothers Shane (Amy) Zdunich, Thomas (Alison) Zdunich, Christopher Zdunich.

A funeral mass will be held at 11am on Wednesday, May 29th, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 300 East 11800 South, Draper, UT 84020 with a viewing prior at 10am.

Matthew’s parents and brothers would like to give a special thanks to the caregiver that assisted Matthew in his final months.
