Mattie Lee Stanley

Mattie Lee Stanley, 93 of Wilmot, AR, transitioned Saturday October 18, 2025, at her son's home in Mabelvale, AR. She was a native of Bastrop, LA, but a resident of Wilmot for many years, and a member of Sweet Home Baptist Church. Mrs. Stanley was a retired activity director who dedicated her career to enriching the lives of nursing home residents.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Stanley, Sr., daughter, Rosie Dunn, sons Frank Stanley, Jr., and John Stanley, brothers, Josh Gayles, Herman Jenkins, Robert Jenkins, Bubba Jenkins, Sunny Jenkins, and Travis Raino, sisters, Eunice Barnes, Louise Simmons, Rosie L. Stanley, and Mary Jean Raino.

She is survived by six sons; Roosevelt Stanley of Desoto, TX, Bobby Stanley of Stratford, Washington, Issac Stanley of Overland Park, KS, Luther Stanley and wife Lorna of Lakeland, FL, Michael Stanley of Mablevale, AR, and Leroy Stanley of Wilmot, AR; five daughters, Emma Knight and husband Costello of Los Angeles, CA, Cheryl Okeke of Ashburn, VA, Hattie Stanley of Little Rock, AR, Frankye Stanley of Overland Park, KS, Angela Brooks and husband Bruce of Kansas City, KS; fifty-three grandchildren, one hundred ten great-grandchildren, fifty great great-grandchildren, a host of other family members, and friends.

Visitation is Sunday October 26, 2025, 4:00-5:30 PM at Cromwell Funeral Home. Funeral service is Monday October 27, 2025, at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Wilmot with Rev. Albert Fenceroy officiating. Pallbearers are Roosevelt Stanley, Bobby Stanley, Issac Stanley, Luther Stanley, Michael Stanley, Leroy Stanley, Costello Knight, and Bruce Brooks, Sr. Burial in Saint Martha cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
