Maureen E. Anderson, 80 of Hamden, loving wife of Len Anderson passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 25, 2025 at the Hospital of St. Raphael. She was born in Pottsville, PA on November 7, 1944 to the late Zachary and Helen Langton.

As a child, her parents moved and settled in New Haven to raise their family. Maureen's parents raised their family bi-lingual- English and American Sign Language. She graduated from Wilber Cross in 1962. After graduation, she met and married her first husband Andrew Morro, Sr., and had two children Andrew and Eric. Maureen loved spending time with her family, especially during the summertime on Andrews deck overlooking the water, and with her beloved dog Coco. She traveled to Puerto Rico three times and always talked about her honeymoon where her and Len traveled to Hawaii. Maureen worked for many years at Echlin Manufacturing Corporation in Branford as a Quality Control Inspector.

Besides her husband Len, she is survived by her son Andrew Morro, Jr. of New Haven, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her sister June Langton and her son Eric.

Calling hours will be held at East Haven Memorial Funeral Home 425 Main St East Haven, CT on Sunday November 2, 2025 from 2pm-5pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday November 3rd at 10AM at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at the Church of St. Bernadette 385 Townsend Ave New Haven, CT. Burial will be private.

Maureen's family would like to thank all of her caregivers from CT Hospice and Everyone from the Hospital of St. Raphael, who were so caring and made the last chapter of her life comfortable.
