Maureen B. Blaski, a resident of Kingston, passed peacefully into eternal life on Monday morning, Sept. 16, 2024, in the comfort of her home.
Her husband, the love of her life, is John F. Blaski. Together, John and Maureen shared 62 beautiful years of marriage.
Born in Swoyersville, Maureen was one of six children born to the late Philip Brennan and Evelyn Regeski Brennan.
Raised in Swoyersville, Maureen attended the former Central Catholic High School, Kingston, before going on to graduate from the former Swoyersville High School, Class of 1960, where she was a proud member of the cheerleading squad.
Throughout the years, Maureen held many roles in the workforce but the one she cherished the most was being "Mom" and "Grammy."
Maureen was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Church, Kingston.
In addition to her parents, Philip and Evelyn Brennan, Maureen was preceded in death by her sister, Eugenia Bruchak; and brother, Robert Brennan.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, John; fur baby, Dayzee; two sons, John P. Blaski and his wife, Amy, Sweet Valley; and Sam Blaski, Plains Twp.; the lights of her life, her grandchildren, John C. Blaski and his companion, Theresa Domarasky; Emily Jugus and her husband, Matt; Jake Blaski; Andi Blaski; Lizzy Blaski; and Philip Blaski; great-grandson, Jackson Jugus; sister, Pat Cole and her husband, Walter, Mountain Top; brothers, Philip "Peachy" Brennan, Plains Twp.; and Kevin Brennan and his wife, Kathy (Maureen's dear friend), Plains Twp.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by all the neighborhood squirrels.
Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Wroblewski Funeral Home Inc., 1442 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort.
