Maureen G. Cetro (nee Tyndall), passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025, at her home in Port Monmouth, New Jersey. She was born on May 31, 1944, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Maureen's life was a wonderful testament to the way that she lived.
Maureen spent most of her life in Weehawken, New Jersey. Those times were filled with the joys and closeness of community. Six years ago, along with her life partner, Ray, Maureen embraced the opportunity to be closer to her sister, and they moved to the Port Monmouth area of Middletown, New Jersey. Her Christian faith was instilled from a young age, guiding her through life's challenges and triumphs. As she grew, so did her capacity for love and her dedication to helping others.
Maureen retired after many dedicated years of work in customer service for Panasonic in Secaucus, New Jersey. She worked tirelessly in her chosen field, earning the respect of her colleagues.
As we mourn the loss of Maureen, we also celebrate the legacy she leaves behind. She is predeceased by her beloved parents, Edmund and Anna (Kiewra) Cetro, her cherished son, Michael Cetro and her kind sister, Joann Tyndall. Maureen is survived by her loving life partner, Raymond DelConte, and her brother, Edmund Tyndell and his wife Dorothy of Wanaque, New Jersey.
