Joyce Schneider, a beacon of love and family devotion, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025, at the age of 88 at Complete Care in Holmdel, New Jersey. Born on November 25, 1936, in Brooklyn, New York, Joyce's life was a testament to the power of nurturing and unconditional love.
Joyce was the cherished daughter of the late Herman and Annette (Schovelson) Wrobel. She grew up in a warm household, where she learned the values of family. Joyce's formative years in Brooklyn instilled in her a sense of community and belonging. She was predeceased by her beloved husband happily married for 60 years, Irving Schneider on July 4, 2014, her wonderful son, Howard Schneider, and her dear siblings, Sheldon Wrobel and his wife, Brina, and Alvin Wrobel and his wife, Elaine. Joyce's legacy is carried on by her loving family. She is survived by her devoted children, Brenda Occhipinti and her husband, Frank, of Keyport, New Jersey, and Scott Schneider and his wife, Rebecca, of Tinton Falls, New Jersey. Her caring daughter-in-law, Pari Kaufmann and her husband Ed, also remains to honor Joyce's memory.
Joyce's role as a grandmother was one of her greatest joys. She was the adoring grandmother to Matthew Schneider, Brooke Sikorsky and her husband, Ryan, Laura Ballatori and her husband, Davide, Nicholas Occhipinti and his wife, BethAnn, Michael Occhipinti and his wife, Amanda, Stephanie Mitchell and her husband, Will, Hope Schneider, and Dylan Schneider. Her love extended to her cherished great-grandchildren, Sol, Juliette, Skye, Slade, Natalie, Scarlett, Charlotte, Amelia, and Jackson, who will miss her dearly.
Throughout her life, Joyce's primary vocation was caring for her family. She created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and an abundance of love. She was a devoted daughter, wife, sister, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed, always loved and never forgotten. Joyce's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved her, but her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremations Services Inc, 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North,
Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. In respect of Joyce's wishes, she will be privately cremated. At a future date, the cremains of Joyce and her husband Irving will be laid to rest together at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, New Jersey.
