Maureen R Foos

Maureen R. Foos, 81, of Owego, New York, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at the Susquehanna Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Johnson City, NY. Maureen was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, James Foos; infant daughter, Jamie Foos; daughter, Kristine Havens. She is survived by seven children and their spouses, Terrence and Sherri Foos, Kathy Harders "Kelsang Gechog", Kristen and Charlie Rodriguez, Jason Foos, Amy and Ahmed Ali, Michael and Sandie Foos, William Foos and Lexi Hacker; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandson; as well as extended family and friends. Maureen will be remembered for her service to St. Patrick's Church and to families with special needs. She and her husband were members of the Tioga County Fair Board for many years. Her special vocation along with her husband, James, was caring for children within our community. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. with funeral services immediately following at 12:00 Noon at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Owego, New York. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Owego, New York. Memorial contributions may be made in Maureen R.
