Robert Foos

Robert Foos, 93, of Pompton Plains, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026, at Sunrise Assisted Living. Born on May 1, 1932, in Baltimore, Maryland, Robert was the son of the late Fred E. and Sadie Foos.

He was a resident of New Jersey for over 65 years. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Following his military service, he worked as a commercial artist with Union Camp in Clifton, NJ. Robert enjoyed art, woodworking, and crafting, always finding joy in working with his hands and sharing his talents with others.

Known for his "terrible" jokes, Robert had a personality that brought smiles wherever he went. He was a devoted fan of the Baltimore Ravens, Baltimore Orioles, and the Washington Bullets, never missing a chance to cheer on his teams.

Robert was predeceased by his beloved wife, Katherine Foos; his son, Scott Foos; his sisters, Marion, Phyllis, Margaret, Elaine, and Cass; and his brothers, Wesley and Stanley. He is survived by his loving daughter, Stacie Chant and her significant other, Bob; and his cherished grandchildren, Christian and Bailey Chant.

Robert will be remembered for his creativity, his sense of humor, and the quiet strength with which he lived his life. His legacy lives on in the family he loved and the memories he leaves behind.
