Maureen M. Heraghty

Maureen Heraghty (nee Green), age 86, passed away on August 27, 2023. She was a resident of Chagrin Falls and enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading, traveling and spending time with her family including her nine grandchildren whom she loved very much.

Maureen was preceded in death by John, her husband of 65 years; sister Gerry Jamieson; brother Bill Green and parents James and Lillian Green.

Maureen is survived by her loving family. Children John, James (Gail), Kevin, Nancy Michaud (Mike) and Trish (Todd); grandchildren Tom, Michael, Caitlin, Lauren, Conor, Bryan, Mary, Patrick and Jennifer. She was a beloved friend and aunt to many

She was blessed with a fun and free spirit that she shared with her family and lifelong friends including Joanne Manzo and four others from her high school alma mater (Notre Dame Academy) whom she knew and remained close to for almost 70 years. Maureen was loved and will be dearly missed.

A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Blossom Hill Nursing Home in Huntsburg for their compassionate care, kindness and friendship that they showed her over the past five years.

The family will be holding a private memorial service for immediate family to be held at a later date.
