Maureen Jacobson Obituary
Maureen Jacobson passed away on December 6, 2025 at her home in Burnsville while in hospice care. She was the first born to Richard and Bernice Wall on December 31, 1943, in Cloquet MN.
Maureen and husband Jeffrey celebrated 52 years of marriage on November 21st. Maureen and Jeff formerly lived in Duluth and returned to MN in 2011 following 29 years living in the Dallas area.
She is survived by sons Marc Mellum, Brent (Lisa) Mellum and their children Morgan and Leo. Also survived by loving sister Etta (Charles) Swanson, brother Gerald Wall, brothers-in-law Glenn (Patty) Jacobson and Jon (Darlys) Jacobson along with many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by sister and best friend Lynn J. Dolan, parents Richard and Bernice, father and mother-in-law Jack and Elaine Jacobson, former husband and good friend Michael Mellum, and fur babies Taylor and BC that gave her 32 years of comfort and love.
Special thanks to the loving care of Minnesota Hospice during this difficult time. Arrangements are by Cremation Society of MN, 4343 Nicollet Ave. S., Minneapolis MN. Per Maureen's wishes no services are planned at this time with a gathering of family and friends to come in the spring.
