Maureen (Mo) Tobin, age 74 of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 24, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Margaret Delehanty, and her husband, Pat Tobin. She is survived by her sister, Karen Delehanty of Greenville, SC; children, Joseph (Jessica) Antonucci of Greenville, SC, Thomas (Sara) Antonucci of Rockville, MD, Karen (Michael) Burton of Greenville, SC, Margaret Antonucci of Greenville, SC; and grandchildren, Thomas McKay, Lauren McHugh, Sydney Grace, William Joseph, Caroline Marie and Emily Maureen. Mo graduated from West Catholic High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she excelled as a student, swimmer, and golfer. She attended Western Michigan University where she received a bachelor's degree in education. She spent many years as a teacher in the Kent County (Michigan) educational system where she improved the lives of countless students who were dealing with social and emotional challenges. Mo was a tremendous golfer, and played many rounds in her youth with her father, mother, and sister, and even more rounds as an adult with her children and her many golfing friends; she took home more than her fair share of tournament trophies and awards. Mo will be missed not only by her family, friends, and former students, but also by her beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, who gave her much joy and kept her company over many years.
