Mavis Goodman Obituary
Mavis Elizabeth Goodman passed away on June 17, 2024 at the age of 83. She was born on January 20, 1941 to the late Willie Dennis and Joycie Mae Headley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Buford Goodman; her two daughters, Angel Leigh Goodman and Mary Elizabeth Cottrell; and two grandsons, Jonathon Walter Goodman and Christopher Daniel Goodman.
She is survived by her children, Walter Joseph Goodman, Patricia Joyce Burgey (Rickey), Cathy Lucille Fuentes (Gregorio ), and Paul Daniel Goodman; several grandchildren, Pamela Jacobs, Michael Bowling, Jessica Johnson, Donnie Burgey, Brittany Burgey, Erika Washburn, and Andrew Burgey; and numerous great- grandchildren.
She was loved by all that knew her, and she will be greatly missed.
Pallbearers will be Gregorio Fuentes, Patrick Washburn, Michael Bowling, Andrew Burgey, Cameron Bowling, and Christopher Goodman, Jr.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2024 in the chapel of the funeral home with interment following at Pineview Memory Gardens.
