Seminole resident, Max John Johle, 84, passed away Monday, December 29, 2025, in Oklahoma City.
John, the son of William and Mary Martha (Kozielsky) Johle, was born January 10, 1941, in Sherman, Texas. He proudly served in the US Air Force. John was a construction worker by trade. He enjoyed shooting and doing leatherwork and woodwork. A deeply religious man, John was a member of the Highway Baptist Church north of Seminole.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and by his wife, Mary Johle.
John is survived by his son, John Johle, of Oklahoma City; a daughter, Melody Armstrong, of Rose Hill, Kansas; three grandchildren, Aaron Armstrong, Mason Armstrong, and Kelly Armstrong; two great grandchildren, Russell and Griffin; a brother, Tom Johle, of Texas, and one sister, Helen Fey, of Texas; along with several other family members and friends.
Services are Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 2:00 P.M., at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, with Pastor Carl Whitfield, officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery in Seminole. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
