Maxie Irene Jordan Camden, 91, Bidwell, Ohio went home to be with the Lord Thursday, May 18, 2023 in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio. The daughter of the late Seaford and Martha (Preston) Jordan, she was born January 8, 1932 in Flemingsburg, Kentucky.
Maxie was employed at Bob Evans Farms for thirty-two years before retiring in 1997. A member of French City Baptist Church, she enjoyed fellowship with her brothers and sisters in Christ. She was a loving wife to Jack Camden, who precedes her in death September 11, 2003, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her family very much.
Left behind to cherish her memory is her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Willa Camden, Bidwell, Ohio; grandchildren: Mandi, Bobb, Malanie, Leslie and Katie; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and two brothers, Eugene Jordan and Lonnie Jordan.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded by her son, Michael Camden, brother, Marlin Jordan and sister, Shirley Terry.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 23, 2023 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio. Burial will follow in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens, Gallipolis. Family and friends may call at the funeral home 11:00 AM-1:00 PM.
