Máximo Dorrejo, querido padre, hijo y hermano, será recordado por su inquebrantable devoción a su familia y amigos, siempre anteponiendo las necesidades de los demás a las suyas. Nacido en la República Dominicana el 26 de agosto de 1980, hijo de Eriberto y Blasina (Márquez) Dorrejo, Máximo se estableció en Providence, donde crió a sus tres queridos hijos: Joshua, Marveline y Merlín. Deja seis hermanos devotos: María Reyes, Plinio Dorrejo, Rafael, Elba y Josefina Dorrejo.

A lo largo de sus cuarenta y cinco años, la vida de Máximo estuvo marcada por la resiliencia, la bondad y una inmensa capacidad de alegría, incluso ante la adversidad. Tras una valiente batalla de siete años contra el cáncer, falleció en el Hospital de Rhode Island el 12 de octubre de 2025. Trabajador y autónomo, Máximo era conocido por su risa contagiosa, su generosidad y su espíritu alentador. Su pasión por los deportes se reflejaba en su pasión por la pesca y el béisbol, especialmente animando a los Red Sox, y en su pasión por competir en Domino's. También era un entusiasta de la música, y su gusto por la salsa, el merengue y la bachata llenaba su vida de ritmo y celebración. En la cocina, encontraba otra vía para su creatividad y calidez, siempre dispuesto a compartir una comida y momentos de convivencia.

Máximo deja un legado basado en el amor, el humor y la perseverancia, que inspira a todos los que tuvieron la fortuna de conocerlo. Su memoria seguirá viva en los corazones de su familia y amigos, sirviendo como un ejemplo de fortaleza y compasión para las generaciones venideras.

El servicio fúnebre de Máximo, al que se invita respetuosamente a familiares y amigos, se llevará a cabo en la Funeraria Berarducci, ubicada en Grove St. 26, Providence, el viernes 17 de octubre de 16:00 a 18:00 h. El entierro tendrá lugar el sábado 18 de octubre a las 11:00 h en el Cementerio de Santa Ana de Cranston. Nos reuniremos en la Funeraria a las 9:15 h.

Maximo Dorrejo, cherished father, son, and brother, will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to family and friends, always placing the needs of others above his own. Born in the Dominican Republic on August 26th, 1980, to Eriberto and Blasina (Marquez) Dorrejo, Maximo made Providence his home, where he raised his three beloved children-Joshua, Marveline, and Merlin. He leaves behind six devoted siblings: Maria Reyes, Plinio Dorrejo, and Rafael, Elba, and Josefina Dorrejo.

Throughout his forty-five years, Maximo's life was marked by resilience, kindness, and a boundless capacity for joy, even in the face of adversity. After a courageous seven-year battle with cancer, he passed away at Rhode Island Hospital on October 12th, 2025. Hardworking and self-employed, Maximo was known for his infectious laughter, generosity, and uplifting spirit. His passion for sports shone through his love of fishing and baseball-especially cheering on the Red Sox-and his competitive enjoyment of Domino's. He was also a music enthusiast, whose appreciation for Salsa, Merengue, and Bachata filled his life with rhythm and celebration. In the kitchen, he found another outlet for his creativity and warmth, always eager to share a meal and moments of togetherness.

Maximo leaves behind a legacy built on love, humor, and perseverance, inspiring all who were fortunate to know him. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends, serving as a beacon of strength and compassion for generations to come.

Services for Maximo to which family and friends are respectfully invited to attend will be held in the Berarducci Funeral Home, 26 Grove St. Providence on Friday, October 17th from 4-6 pm. Burial will be Saturday October 18th, at 11 am in St. Ann's Cemetery Cranston we will meet at the Funeral Home at 9:15 am
