Maxine C. Chick

Maxine Clarice Chick (Harlson), age 91, born to Annabelle (Larson) and Orien Harlson in Sand Creek, Wisconsin, died at home in Cloquet, Minnesota attended by her family on December 29, 2023. She married Richard G. Chick on July 24, 1954. They celebrated 65 years of marriage before his passing in 2020. Maxine is survived by her children, Rosanne, Gary (Nancy), Patricia (Edward), and Paul; granddaughters, Samantha, Danielle, and Nicole; and Wisconsin family members, Martha Gruber, Fredrick (Nolene) Harlson, and Larry Harlson.
A grateful thank you to the staff of St. Croix Hospice with special thanks to Pauline, Amanda, Kaisa, Jen, and Evania. Maxine wouldn't have been able to continue living in her home for the past two years without your care.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Care in Cloquet. A private family Mass will be held. Memorials may be directed to Queen of Peace School or the Cloquet Educational Foundation.
