Maxine Maul, a beloved mother, devoted spouse, treasured grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on September 10th, 2024, at the age of 94, with family by her side. Born in Flint on September 3rd 1930, Maxine lived a long and fulfilling life marked by her unwavering kindness, strong spirit, and love for her family.
Maxine was a devoted wife to her late husband, William Maul, and a loving mother to her children, William (Kathy) Maul and Mark (Lynette) Maul. She was a grandmother to 3 grandchildren, Paula (Kyle) Cook-Gemeinhardt, William (Marie) Cook, Jeffrey (Katie) Maul and a great-grandmother to 3 great-grandchildren Bailey Cook, Kylie Cook, and Logan Maul. Her family was her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Maxine was known for her generous spirit, love of the church, and putting others first. Maxine's gentle nature and compassionate heart touched the lives of all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday September 17, 2024 at 11am at St. Catherine of Sienna with Rev. Fr. James Bessert presiding with inurnment at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10am till time of service at the church.
Maxine will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
