Today we celebrate Miss. Maxine Reed, Daughter of the late Martha Ruth Reed, She was born Sept.08, 1955 in Abbeville SC, She departed this life July 22, 2024 at her residence in Honea Path S.C at the age of 68.
Maxine leaves to cherish her fond memories to her sons, Randy (Redda) Reed of Honea Path SC, Artez (Equilla) Harrison of Anderson SC, Santana Harrison of Greenville SC and daughter, Tishelia Cowans of Greenwood SC, granddaughters, Queen Reed of Greenville SC, Jermaina Owens of Anderson, SC, Veonsai Burgos, C'mere Lesley all of Honea Path SC, Breanna, Arasia and T'arolyn Harrison all of Anderson SC; grandsons, Manny Galbreath, Carletho Burgos and Rahzel Scott all of Honea Path SC, Datrez and Nevaeh Harrison all of Anderson SC; great grands, Gabby Smith of Honea Path SC, Nina and Rylo Owens of Anderson SC, Emmy Burgos of Honea Path SC; her sisters, Willie Mae (Willie) Tillman of Antreville, SC and Kathy Reed of Calhoun Falls, SC; brothers, Sammy (Annie) Reed of Elberton GA and Henry Reed of Anderson SC; three aunts, Leila Alexander of Due West, Roberta Reed of Due West SC and Mary Reed of MT. Carmel SC; two uncles, Willie James Reed and Melvin Reed both of Antreville SC; Special Cousin, Terry Reed of Abbeville SC, One niece, Felicia (Eugene) Strickland of Calhoun Falls SC, One nephew, De'montay Reed of Calhoun Falls SC and Five Nephews, Javon, Jaceon, Jayden and Jasiah Strickland all of Calhoun Falls SC and Terry Reed JR (TJ) of ATL GA
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Reed and Bobby Reed, Special friend, Ronald Posey
The funeral service for will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 3:00 pm at New Friendship Baptist Church, Honea Path, SC with internment to follow at the church's cemetery.
Public viewing: Friday, July 26, 2024, at The Unity Mortuary of Anderson from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
The family is at 995 Bell Road, Iva, Sc 29655.
