Mayzee Michelle Monks, 14 of Enterprise was called away on Saturday, January 10, 2025 at her home. She was born on February 7, 2011 at Talihina to Matt and Alesha (Lenard) Monks. To know Mayzee was to love her-but even more special than knowing her was being loved by her. She never met a stranger and had a way of making everyone feel seen, welcomed, and included. Full of laughter and always wearing a smile, Mayzee had a joy that was contagious. Many who knew her often said she was an angel here on earth, sent to touch lives in a way only she could.
She loved being a big sister to Paizlee, sharing countless giggles with her while fixing hair and being silly together. Those moments of laughter were some of her favorite and will be treasured forever.
Mayzee had a playful spirit and loved to steal Matt's recliner-giggling the entire time as if she knew she was getting away with something. She was never too big to curl up in Papa's recliner, where she found comfort, warmth, and love. And while she loved so many deeply, no one could ever take the place of her Momma.
Mayzee lived life to the fullest. Even when life was difficult, her outlook remained positive and full of hope. She never allowed her limitations to define her or stop her once she had made up her mind. With a true servant's heart, she ministered to others, even when it required every ounce of her strength.
Above all else, Mayzee loved Jesus with her whole heart. She loved being in church and could spend hours watching services-singing, preaching, and even enjoying Spanish services. Worship was not just something she did; it was who she was.
