McKayla Morgan Armbruster

Beloved daughter, sister, and friend, McKayla M. Armbruster, passed away unexpectedly on October 29, 2025 at the age of 27.

McKayla was born to Kenneth Armbruster and Sherri Szelc in Voorhees, NJ and has resided in many towns in South Jersey, especially Mt. Holly, before her current residence in Mt. Laurel, NJ. She attended Rancocas Valley High School, class of 2016, and went on to continue her education at Rowan College at Burlington County where she received her Associates Degree and made the Dean's List. McKayla worked at the J & M Beauty Supply in Columbus, NJ for eight years. She was a kind soul who loved animals, and had many beloved cats over the years. She was also very spiritual and loved learning about gemstones and their properties. In her free time, McKayla loved to go paddle boarding, cooking, listening to Stevie Nicks, and reading-she was a huge fan of the Harry Potter series. She was a wonderfully kind hearted person who was loved by all who knew her.

McKayla is survived by her loving parents, Kenneth (Ali) Armbruster and Sherri Szelc; her devoted brother, Tim Estes; her treasured grandfather Robert Armbruster; her cherished aunts and uncle, Colleen, Nancy, and Greg, and many cousins. Beloved best friends, Anjel, Haylee, Jocelyn, and Bryanna, also survive her and keep her memory alive.

Relatives and friends are welcome to her visitation on Monday, November 10th, 2025 from 2:00-3:00PM, and to her memorial service immediately following at 3:00PM. Both will be held at Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054.
