John Parker Armbruster, born July 12, 1944, in Santa Monica, California, to Harry and Mary Lee Armbruster, passed away on October 11, 2025, in Palm Coast, Florida, at the age of 81. At a young age, John moved with his family to Ohio, where he spent most of his life. He attended Ohio State University for two years, during which he developed a lifelong passion for Buckeye football.
John built a successful career at Crucible Steel, where he dedicated 30 years of service and retired in 2001 as Vice President of Sales. A devoted Corvette enthusiast and avid golfer, John embraced life with enthusiasm and a deep appreciation for the things he loved most.
John is survived by his loving wife, Veronica Armbruster; his sons, Joe, Chris, and Justin Armbruster; his brother, Bob Armbruster; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his stepson, Ed Ervin Jr.; his son, Sean Armbruster; and his sister, Gail Burke. John's memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him, and his warmth, humor, and passion for life will be deeply missed.
