Alice "Riley" Sinclair

Alice Sinclair (nee Riley), 72, of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born and raised in Camden, New Jersey to the late John and Anna Mae Riley, Alice was a resident of Mount Laurel since 1982. She was a dedicated teacher's aide and bus driver for Four Seasons Children's Center. Alice was also a longtime and active member of the YMCA of Mount Laurel. Listening to music, attending concerts, long leisurely walks around her neighborhood, and spending time in Ocean City, Maryland were just a few things that Alice enjoyed doing.

A kind hearted and thoughtful person, Alice was simply amazing. Alice never had a bad word to say about anyone. With her outgoing personality, Alice made lifelong lasting friendships. She made a lasting impression on those she met and was always there to lend a helping hand. If you were looking for a souvenir for Alice, there was no question that you could bring her a turtle to add to her turtle garden. She always went above and beyond on your birthday to make you feel special and Christmas decorating was magical for her family. Alice will be missed by all those who loved her.

Beloved wife of 48 years to James M. Sinclair; devoted mother of John Riley, James R. (Brandy Schwalbe) Sinclair and David M. Sinclair; cherished grandmother of Adam Goldstein and Theodore and Violet Sinclair; dear sister of Walter (Cathy) Riley, Janet (Ralph) Powell, Margaret (Charlie) King, and Mary Goodman-Miller. Alice is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend Alice's visitation on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, New Jersey where the service will follow at 7:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Alice's name to the Animal Welfare Association or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
