Meg was known for her sharp wit, amazing baking, and deep love for her family. She loved music and could often be found playing one of her favorites by Joni Mitchell or Paul McCartney. She enjoyed Sunday drives with her husband, watching movies with her daughter, and playing piano during “jam sessions” with her son. She was an excellent cook and baker—her famous buckeyes were a highlight of every family gathering. She had a lifelong affection for animals and found joy in the companionship of every pet who crossed her path.
Throughout her career, Meg worked for several government agencies in Ohio, including Legal Aid and the Medina Metropolitan Housing Authority, where she retired. Her dedication to serving others reflected her belief in fairness and service to others.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, James (“Jim”) Fröhlich; daughter, Corrine Fröhlich; son, Matthew (Samantha) Frohlich; grandchildren, Sebastian and Lana Fröhlich; sister, Patti (Mark) Blum and many nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church (82 E. William Street, Delaware) on Friday, October 24th at 10:30 a.m. followed by a gathering at Newstart Church (795 Pollack Road, Delaware). Flowers are welcome, or those who wish may make a donation in Meg’s memory to the Humane Society of Delaware County.
