Megan Michelle Davis

Megan Michelle Cardenas Davis, passed away on December 2, 2025 at the age of 45 at her home surrounded by her family after fighting a prolonged illness. She was born July 25, 1980 in Salt Lake City to Mae Carrillo Palacios and Luis Ignacio Cardenas.

Megan was married to William Kirk Davis on September 20, 2014 in Belzoni, Mississippi. She graduated from West High School in 1999 and continued her education to obtain her Massage Therapy License. Megan excelled in retail management and customer service.

Through family traditions, she acquired a passion which she perfected in baking, cooking and crafting. If you were ever fortunate enough to experience her baking or any of her passions, you would feel the love and know how special you were to her.

When Megan married Kirk she knew that she had found her true and forever love. Megan and Kirk were able to travel abundantly before becoming ill which resulted in her moving back home. Her chronic illness did not disrupt her relationships. Always maintaining the importance of her family and friends. Always embracing every precious and quality moments she had.

She is survived by her husband Kirk, Mother Mae, Father Juan, Sister Kathryn, and Her fur baby Archie. We would like to honorably mention Uncle Ted, Many aunts, Uncles, and Cousins from both sides of the family. There are too many to mention by name, Godparents Tio Caslos and Tia Terisita Cardenas. Preceded in death by Joie Demi (niece), Grandpa Ben, Grandma Angie and Cardenas grandparents.

In closing, we wanted to thank the many caregivers who provided support throughout her health challenges.
