Melanie Willis Obituary
Melanie was a patient care coordinator for Encompass Health in Prosper Texas. She loved traveling, drawing, painting, and crafting. She cherished her time with family and friends especially her nieces Kyleah, Avery, and Krislyn and her pets, Kit Kat, Harley, Cocoa, and Chunkin who she treated like family. She loved helping others, volunteering for pet rescue's and helping at the animal shelters. She never turned away an animal in need.
Melanie is preceded in death by her grandfather, Thomas Earl Willis; grandmothers, Linda Winberry and Annie Jo Martin; and uncle, Lance Winberry.
Melanie is survived by her mother Angie Williams (Greg) of Emerson; father Michael Willis of McNeil; grandfather Edward Winberry of Waldo; brothers, Chris Willis (Renee) of Magnolia, Kourd Evans of Waldo; nieces, Kyleah Quintana (Leonel) of Emerson; Avery Barker and Krislyn Willis both of Magnolia; step brothers, Shane Williams of Texarkana and Brandon Williams of Magnolia; great nephew Ethan Quintana of Emerson; step grandmother JoAnn Williams of Magnolia; and an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia; Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 4, 2024, at Shiloh Baptist Church in Waldo, Arkansas with Bro. Michael Clark officiating with burial to follow at Shiloh Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Columbia County Animal Protection Society, PO Box 2003, Magnolia, Arkansas 71754.
Pallbearers will be Stacy Bond, Shane Williams, Terry Griffith, Monty Glasscock, Roderick Doss, and Donnie Hanson.
