Ruby Mae Hovarter

Ruby Mae Hovarter, 91, of Magnolia, AR passed away Sunday, February 22, 2026, in Wentworth Place Brown House.

Ruby was born on October 21, 1934, in Omaha, NE to the late Edgar Alan and Esta Mae (Grant) Baldwin. She worked for Amfuel for 30 years and was the manager for the Buzz Buy Corporation of Stamps, AR where she retired.

Ruby was a residence for 10 years at Wentworth Place where she enjoyed playing bingo, attending church services, gospel singings, and going to the beauty shop. She was a wonderful homemaker who cherished the time with her family and dearly loved her grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her parents; grandsons, Joshua and Adam Lancaster; and four sisters. Ruby is survived by her daughter, Trina Munn of Magnolia; son, Tommy Lancaster and wife Melissa of Crossett; grandchildren: Shawn Hamilton and wife Laura of Arcadia, LA and their children, Taegan Ward and husband Jessie and Steely Hamilton of Arcadia; Mandy Nations of Magnolia and her children, Langston Munn and wife Heather of Texarkana and Kinsley Nations of Magnolia; Renee Willis and husband Chris of Emerson and their children, Kyleah Quintana and husband Leonel, Avery Barker, and Krislyn Willis all of Emerson; and Caitlyn Lancaster of Hampton; brother, Donald Baldwin of Nebraska; and a host of great-great grandchildren, extended family, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at the Macedonia Baptist Church with Bro. Joe Owens officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia.

The family would like to thank the staff at Wentworth Place Brown House for their compassionate care and support given to Ruby and family for the past 10 years she was a resident.
