Richard is survived by his loving wife of over 25 years, Deborah, His sons, Bradley (Amanda) and Todd. He was a proud grandfather to Charlee and Braden. He also leaves behind his siblings, Don (Doris) Hovarter, Kathy (Gary) Kittle, and Jeff (Eve) Hovarter & Sister-in-law Mary (Phill) DePaulis as well as many special nieces and nephews.
Known for his passion for volunteering at the local aviation museum, Richard also enjoyed woodworking, gunsmithing, and watching the Redwings. Rick was also a member of the Birch Park Gun Club. His hobbies reflected his love for detail and precision, traits that were greatly admired by all who knew him. He was a master at his craft.
