Roy White Obituary
Roy was born on August 10, 1953, in Choudrant, Louisiana. He did carpentry work around Magnolia for over 40 years and was the chief cook for Lamartine Deer Camp.
Roy cherished spending time with his family and grandchildren and watching westerns.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents Leonard Jasper White and Inez Holtzclaw White; granddaughter Patience Alderman; grandsons, Kade Strickland and Jonathon Barnwell; and a brother Ken Acord.
Roy is survived by his wife Nelda White of Magnolia; two sons, Coby White (Nicole) of Naples, TX, Shawnn Strickland (Melissa) of Taylor; three daughters, Miranda Jackson (Troy) of Bryant, Amy Watkins (Josh) of Magnolia, and Michelle Barnwell (Jonathon) of Dallas; brother Jerry White (Gail) of Simsboro; sister Lois Evans (Buster) of Ruston; sister in law Lynda Smith of Magnolia; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc.
Cremation services were provided by Lewis Funeral Home, Inc.
