Melba Seal Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Dr. Tony Lambert and Bro. Justin Anderson will officiate the service.
A native of Picayune, MS, she was a Homemaker and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. Melba was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend who will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Rankin Farmer and Eunice Bounds Farmer; son, Charles Quitman Clayton Seal.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted husband of 56 years, Simon William Seal; brothers, Edgar R. Farmer, Charlie (Doren) Farmer, and John William (Beverly) Farmer; several nieces and nephews.

One of my favorite memories is of Melba and I at around age 13 in our yellow bikinis in a plastic kiddie pool! We thought we were some real bathing beauties!
