Melinda K. Barrineau was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother who graced this world with her presence from October 13, 1970, to July 19, 2025. She was born and raised in Berea, Kentucky, by her parents, Norman and Caroline Dean Jr., Her radiant spirit and infectious laughter will forever be remembered by all those who had the privilege to know her.

A proud 1988 graduate of Berea Community High School, Melinda's commitment to education led her to pursue further studies at Eastern Kentucky University.

She is survived by her loving parents, her adored daughter, Cheyenne Tincher, along with her son-in-law Noah, and the light of her life, granddaughter Mariana Hope Tincher. She also leaves behind her dear sisters, Jessica (James) Ward and Joy Dean, step-sister, Cindy (Eric) Davis, her niece, Caitlyn Lynch, with her daughter Arrabella, and her nephews, Jaden Lynch and Aiden Lynch.

Melinda's passions extended beyond her family, embracing her community through her involvement with Church on the Rock. Her faith was an integral aspect of her existence, guiding her through life's trials and triumphs.

Melinda's wishes were to be cremated, and the family will hold a memorial service at a later date. Condolences may be left at www.lakesfuneralhome.com
