Melisa Hanck Obituary
Melisa was born May 27, 1987, in Columbus, Ohio, to James D. Hanck and Diane Plaza Hoislbauer. She was a 2005 graduate of Tree of Life Christian Schools in Columbus, Ohio. Melisa also graduated in 2012 Summa Cum Laude in Nursing at IVY Tech in Richmond, Indiana. She was known for her passion for caring for others, her ability to make others laugh, her love of animals, and spaghetti. Melisa was a previous member of Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Westerville, Ohio, where she served the homeless, and participated in a mission trip to Anapra, Mexico.
Survivors include her parents; brothers, Mathew (Camren Taylor) Hanck of Marion, Ohio, and Mitchell Hanck of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; her mother's husband, Willliam Hoislbauer of Ormond Beach, Florida; and stepmother, Kellie (Brian Kearton) Hanck, of Ft. Myers, Florida.
She was preceded in death by grandfather, Joseph Plaza; and grandparents, Howard and Patricia Hanck.
There will be no public services.
