Melissa Arabie Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Heritage Funeral Home - Lampasas on Dec. 7, 2025.
Melissa Jean Arabie

Melissa Jean Arabie, 50, passed away on December 6, 2025. born She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald W. Schoeffler and Sharron J. Stelly, and her sister, Crystal A. Schoeffler.

She is survived by her sons, Tyler J. Arabie (Nikeia) and Dylan S. Arabie; her beloved grandchildren, TJ and Atreus; her sister, Rebecca Ramos (Jess); and her brothers, Jerry Schoeffler (Misty) and Marcus Schoeffler. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who loved her deeply.

Born in Lafayette, Louisiana, on February 19, 1975, Melissa carried her Cajun heritage proudly throughout her life. Though she made Texas her home for the past 30 years, she never let her Cajun spirit fade. She was known for the warmth she brought into every room-always smiling, always ready with a kind word.

Melissa loved sharing her culture through her cooking, preparing Cajun dishes that brought comfort and joy to those around her. She enjoyed her music-especially the soulful voice of Otis Redding-and often filled her home with songs that reflected her heart and her roots.

Above all, Melissa was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and aunt. Her love for her family was unwavering, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.

Au revoir... until we meet again.

The memorial service for Melissa Arabie will be held on Saturday, December 20th at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home - Lampasas.
