Melissa Ann DiRito

Melissa Ann DiRito, 53, of Pleasant Hills, PA, passed away on September 21, 2025. Born October 18, 1971, in Finleyville, PA, Melissa was a shining light whose generosity, humor, and boundless heart touched everyone she met.
Missy dedicated 32 years of her career to Citizens Bank, where she rose to the position of Principle Business Insights Analyst, Vice President.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Karen DiRito, and her treasured fur baby, Gatsby. Missy is survived by her devoted husband and high school sweetheart, Danny Biles; her stepson, DJ Biles; and stepdaughters, Kayla and Amanda Biles. She will be deeply missed by her loving father, Bill DiRito; her sister and best friend, Jen DiRito (Steve Changet); and her nephews, AJ and Caden Cherico. She also leaves behind her beloved Godmother and confidant, Mary Jo Lehman, her "second sister" Diane Anderson, her three cherished cats-Coco, KitKat, and Kitty Fat-and her dear Blind Tiger Besties, who were family to her in every way.
Missy lived a life of generosity and hospitality. No one's heart was purer than Missy's, and she found joy in bringing happiness to others. She loved hosting family and friends at her pool, sharing laughter, stories, and unforgettable moments. Her family cabin was her happy place, where she found peace and contentment. She cherished late-night phone calls, had a gift for arts and crafts, and found joy in music-especially '80s country.
What made Missy truly special was her heart. She had a gift for seeing the good and the beauty in everyone and everything. Her only wish was for those around her to be happy, and she never hesitated to do whatever she could to make her loved ones smile.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 4:15 p.m. at Giant Oaks Winery in Finleyville, PA, with a Celebration of Life party to follow at the same location. The family warmly invites all who loved Missy to attend and share in honoring her memory.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Missy's name to Homeless Cat Management Team, PO Box 444, Natrona Heights, PA 15065, the organization that gave her two of her beloved cats.
Though her life ended far too soon, Missy's spirit will live on in the countless lives she touched, and she will forever be remembered for her kindness, laughter, and love.
