Melissa Ann "Missy" Doyle, 61, of Benton Harbor, was freed from earthly suffering and welcomed into the arms of her Lord on October 31, 2025. Born on April 3, 1964, in Lexington, KY, she was the cherished daughter of Mae and Jack H. Wheeler.
Missy graduated from Boyd County High School in Ashland, KY, and further pursued her passion in cosmetology. Raised in church, she was known as the shy girl who would often hide behind the piano while singing and playing alongside her mother, Mae, and sister, Kathy. Together, they formed The Beulah Land Trio, which flourished with the addition of talented musicians like drummer Doug Fraley and his brother, the late Bill Fraley on bass guitar. Other gifted family members include her brothers, Tom Wheeler, a singer and bassist, and Jeremy Wheeler, a drummer and preacher, along with many talented nieces, nephews, and relatives.
Missy was married to her first husband, Danial Kevin Robinson, until his untimely passing in 1988. They shared three daughters: Candice Shae Robinson, Amber Christine Robinson, and Shanda Daniel Robinson.
On January 23, 1993, Missy married Randy Doyle. Together, they served in ministry in various roles, including Evangelists, Pastors, church musicians, choir director, and her personal favorite-praise and worship leader. With a divine gift for ushering in the presence of God, she expressed her devotion through playing the piano, singing, songwriting, and composing music, truly embodying the spirit of a modern-day Psalmist.
Throughout her life, Missy faced numerous struggles, including ongoing health issues and unfortunate surgical complications that left her in pain. In her later years, she found joy working at the funeral home alongside Belicia P. Hicks, the owner, where they envisioned future plans for Robbins Brothers Funeral Home. At the funeral home, Missy played the piano and sang at services, styled hair of departed loved ones, and assisted Randy with his duties. She took pride in cleaning and decorating the space, showcasing her talent for transforming inexpensive items into beautiful decorations that brightened any room. Her giving spirit shone through in all her endeavors.
Missy's greatest love was for her children and grandchildren. While no mother is perfect, she loved her family wholeheartedly and frequently expressed her pride in her daughters. She often spoke of Candice, Christi, and Shanda's beauty, intelligence, and loving nature, often marveling at their phenomenal motherhood to her grandchildren. Her face would light up with joy when she mentioned them. Her children were her heart.
Missy loved deeply and fiercely, maintaining connections with many childhood friends from Kentucky. She was the type of friend everyone needs-a "ride or die" companion who would give selflessly, always ready to lend a hand, even in difficult times. She was someone who would have made different choices if given the chance.
As a wife, I am profoundly grateful to have shared nearly 33 years of marriage with Missy. She allowed me the honor of being a dad to Candice, Christi, and Shanda. These girls could not be any more my children if they were my children. It was a privilege to be by Missy's side through every illness and surgery, caring for her during both joyous and challenging times.
I also feel honored to have served alongside her in ministry. Together, we traveled the country and preached for years, witnessing countless women and men saved, healed, and delivered through Missy's ministry. Though I was the preacher, it was her powerful singing that paved the way for the message, allowing the anointing to flow freely.
Missy has crossed the chilly Jordan. After God checked the Lamb's Book of Life and found her name, Melissa Ann Wheeler Doyle, written in the Blood of Jesus, He wiped away her tears and said, "Missy, thou good and faithful servant, well done! You were faithful over a few things, so I will make you ruler over many: enter into the joy of the Lord." She now enjoys reunions without night, pain, disappointment, or struggle-only victory, peace, and love. Tears will never stain the streets of that city, and there will be no sad goodbyes. Enjoy Beulah Land, My Missy. You did a wonderful job, and we are all so proud of you! I love you. Glory to God on High, His Holy Son, Jesus and the Powerful Spirit of God.
Missy is survived by her loving husband of nearly 33 years, Randy Doyle; her beautiful daughters: Candice Shae Hutchinson and son-in-law Chris Hutchinson; Amber Christine "Christi" Robinson; and Shanda Daniel Robinson-Kibler and son-in-law Patrick Kibler. She also leaves behind her incredible grandchildren: Brayden Young, Brody Young, Fiona Hutchinson, Olivia "Liv" Hutchinson, Aria Kelly-Robinson, Zella Mae Kibler, Waylon Kibler, and Sophie Kibler; her exceptional sister, Kathy Hughes; her loyal brothers, Tom (Karen) Wheeler and Jeremy Wheeler; amazing nieces Jessica (Jeff) Koss, Megan Wheeler, Alisha (Dan) Harper, Leah (Kyle) Barlow, and Stephanie Hernandez; handsome nephews Caleb (Kelli) Wheeler, Titus Wheeler, Levi Wheeler, Justin (Chanda) Williams, Devin (Morgan) Mitchell, Drew Livingston, and Calvin (Rachel) Campbell; special children Gucci, Chloe, Kodak, and Diesel; and a multitude of uncles, aunts, great-nieces, great-nephews, friends, family, church family, and a tremendous number of Kentucky friends and family.

Wheeler; father-in-law Wendell A. Doyle; mother-in-law Judy K. Doyle; special children Cookie, C.J., Jingle Bells, Harley, and Bam-Bam; and special brother Buddy.
