Charles “Mike” Doyle, age 71, formerly of Lisco, Nebraska, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Chimney Rock Villa in Bayard, Nebraska. A private family service will be held at the Nebraska Veterans’ Cemetery at Grand Island. The United States Navy and United Veterans Club will provide military honors. Mike was born September 27, 1954, in Hastings, Nebraska to Charles Sr. and Elizabeth “Betty” (Fahrenholz) Doyle. He graduated from Harvard Public School and soon enlisted with the United States Navy. Mike was honorably discharged in 1974.
He had a passion for strumming the guitar in various bands, enjoyed cruising on motorcycles, and drawing.
Survivors include his children, Cleve Doyle, Colby (Erin) Doyle, and Candice Doyle; grandchildren, Dylan Shepherd, Kassydie Garvin, Atticus Doyle, Deagan Doyle, Nicole Chapman, Owen Erickson, and Collin Doyle; sisters, Victoria George and Laurie (Eugene) Consbruck; along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Elizabeth Doyle; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Dale Myers; and sister, Tamera Doyle.
