Melissa M. (Nadeau) Kosko, 50, of the Plantsville section of Southington, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at HOCC at New Britain, after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Melissa was born on February 9, 1972. She grew up in Bristol and graduated from Bristol Eastern High School, Class of 1990. She went on to earn her pharmacy degree from UCONN and worked at CVS in Meriden for over 30 years. Melissa met her best friend and future husband Dave in 1992. They were married in 1998 and spent the last 24 years building the beautiful family that she was so proud of. Melissa loved attending her kid’s sports games and was their biggest supporter. She enjoyed traveling, especially to the Outer Banks, Disney World and Montauk, NY.
Melissa is survived by her husband David Kosko and their 3 children, Adam, Claudia and Cole Kosko. She also leaves behind her parents, Leopold and Francine (Bilodeau) Nadeau of Southington, 2 brothers, Martin Nadeau and his wife Jody of Farmington and Etienne “Steve” Nadeau and his wife Diane of Middletown, father-in-law, William Kosko, brother-in-law, William Kosko and his wife Beth, both of Ansonia and many nieces and nephews. Melissa was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Helen Kosko.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 14, 2022 at Saint Bridget of Sweden Parish, 175 Main St, Cheshire. Inurnment will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington. Calling hours will be held from 4 - 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St, Plantsville.
